Christo Uys

I’m Christo Uys, Tour Guide and Tour Leader, I grew up in the beautiful Stellenbosch region and have always been passionate about working with people. I am an entertainer and did master of ceremony work at corporate functions. Working with people touches my heart and making clients friends and family is what it’s all about.

Specializing in the Indian market I have learned Hindi, as I believe you need to connect with people. For the last 8 years I have been a Tour Leader in Countries like Australia, New Zeeland, Fiji, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, Scandinavia, Iceland and even Africa.

I want to bring the world to South Africa and take South Africa to the world. We are all the same at the end of the day.

My Motto is: If I can touch one person’s life in a positive way each day, I can go to bed feeling like a hero.

Sorita Musgrave

My name is Sorita Musgrave and I was born on the west coast of Namibia. I was a shy child that developed a love for reading – I could read before I went to school. I have not lost the love for the written word yet! I also love writing and write my own blog (no, not a travel blog! There are enough of that out there!)

I lived, worked and traveled in Europe for 4 years. On my return to South Africa, I got involved in radio and the stage, being in several productions both on stage and back stage. I love people, I love traveling and I love sharing the beauty of South Africa with guests from other countries. I love life and all it has to offer – both good and bad! There is always something to learn. I am an optimist and always see the best in people. I love to laugh and have a wicked sense of humor. I am adventurous and will try something at least once!

My motto in life: you are never too old or too young to learn!

Alistair Reizenberg

From childhood, my direction in tourism was ignited by two pillars in my life! Firstly my father who was a musician, who nurtured my love for people and my initial introduction to the Tourism & Hospitality environment. Secondly my maternal grandfather, who formed part of the indigenous Khoi community. It was he that instilled my passion for cultural heritage, nature and the outdoor lifestyle.

This foundation prepared me for my destiny in the tourism industry.About ten years ago, I decided to focus on tourist guiding on a full-time basis. My purpose was to take my place as a passionate ambassador for South Africa. I got certified as a South African host and qualified & registered as tourist guide to showcase my country with its diverse multicultural heritage and breathtaking scenery!

My love for storytelling, indigenous culture, fauna, flora, geology etc. has moulded me as a specialist tourist guide to help facilitate awesome experiences and unforgettable memories for all visitors to South Africa

Sarah Weaver

Born in the UK but raised in SA – this is my home! I am a happy, vibrant and dynamic person who loves rising to meet challenges. After Matric I headed straight into the Tourism field, cutting my teeth at a local tourist attraction before moving on to establishing myself as “jack of all trades” when it came to the needs of Clients visiting Cape Town.

Whether it be groups or families and couples, I pride myself in making a trip memorable – even if through just one small thing that I can do to make the difference between a good and a great holiday. I am qualified as a Tourguide through out South Africa and taking a keen and more depth interest in Wine and Nature – always on the look out to add to my knowledge base through courses and talks when I can attend.

I have been fortunate to travel through a fair amount of Southern Africa, for work and play, and this has also provided invaluable knowledge and experiences that I try to carry over to my guests. I am very passionate about the outdoors and have a keen interest in our natural surroundings. A growing book collection testifies to this passion! I’m also keen mountain biker. I love working as a Tourguide as it fulfills my passions for both people and the outdoors as well as my deep rooted sense of curiosity about the world and we who fill it. Having had close to 20 years experience in the industry I love that I’m learning all the time.

Hendré de Villiers

With Table Mountain in my backyard, it’s no surprise I ended up being an avid mountaineer.

Having traveled South Africa for hiking, climbing and mountain climbing, I find my energy in exploring new lines and trails. I have spent time in the UK, France, Spain, Turkey, USA and Norway exploring their outdoor gems.

Being a volunteer mountain rescuer since 2009 and a qualified mountain walking leader, Abseil Supervisor, Rock Climbing guide with First Aid.

Mzu Lembeni

Since 2011, iMzu has operated more than 10,000 township tours and connected thousands more tourists with Cape Town’s township communities enriching the lives of tourists, and by their presence, the material lives of the locals, because Mzu Lembeni, believes in ‘sharing the love’.

Having learnt what is possible through my own experience of growing up in a corrugated iron shack and starting my work life as a teenager working in a kitchen scullery, I have dedicated myself to empowering the township communities I call home, by creating local jobs, and assisting enthusiastic locals in driving the townships forward and away from their apartheid history.

I’m a fun , energetic and passionate guide and my motto is: “Everything is possible even in a life of struggle. Make your passion your career.”
